Geography: Boulder, Montana is located in the middle of the Deerlodge National Forest.  The Continental Divide runs west of Boulder, and the Elkhorn Mountain Range is to the east.  The Boulder River runs through town.

Transportation: Boulder is conveniently located between Butte and Helena just off I-15 on Hwy 69.  Helena is 26 miles north, and Butte is about 32 miles south.  Both Helena and Butte have regional airport service.

Weather: Average high temperature in the summer ranges from 72° in June, 82° in July, and 82° in August, with average lows in the mid 40s.  June usually has the most rainfall with an average of 2  inches. The average high temperature in the winter ranges from 35° in December, 33° in January, and 38° in February, with average lows in the low teens. The average snowfall in December and January is 6 inches.
