Geography:  The Cabinet Mountains Wilderness and Ross Creek Giant Cedars Scenic Area in the Kootenai National Forest surround the small town of Noxon. Located along the Clark Fork River and close to the Bull River and Bull Lake.

Transportation: Located along Montana Highway 200 approximately 31 miles from Libby, MT and 16.6 miles north of Trout Creek, MT.

Weather: Average high temperature in the summer ranges from 76° in June, 85° in July, and 86° in August, with average lows in the mid 40s.  May and June usually have the most rainfall with an average of 2.3 inches. The average high temperature in the winter ranges from 34° in December, 34° in January, and 41° in February, with average lows in the low 20s.  The average snowfall in December and January is 20 inches.
