Geography: Wolf Point is located in the Missouri River Valley, with the Missouri River running south of town.

Transportation: Wolf Point is located in the northeast corner of Montana at the intersection of US highway 2 and Montana highway 13. The US Canadian border is 66 miles north along highway 13.  Wolf Point is served by both Amtrak and Big Sky Airlines.

Weather:  Average high temperature in the summer ranges from 81° in June, 89° in July, and 87° in August, with average lows in the low 50s.  June usually has the most rainfall with an average of 2.88 inches. The average high temperature in the winter ranges from 27° in December, 23° in January, and 31° in February, with average lows in the single digits.  The average snowfall in December and January is 3.8  inches.
