Geography: Scobey is located in the northeast corner of Montana. The Middle Fork Poplar River is west of town. The Missouri River is south of town near Wolf Point. 

Transportation: Scobey is located at the intersection of highway 13 and highway 5.  Scobey is 15 miles from the US Canadian Border.

Weather:  Average high temperature in the summer ranges from 78° in June, 86° in July, and 84° in August, with average lows in the high 40s to low 50s.  June usually has the most rainfall with an average of 2.66 inches. The average high temperature in the winter ranges from 25° in December, 19° in January, and 27° in February, with average lows below zero and in the single digits.  The average snowfall in December and January is 6.4  inches.
